About the Journal
The International Journal of Biotechnology and Advanced Research is a scientific publication issued biannually (two issues per year) in Persian. It is owned and published by Green Wave Publications and seeks to advance knowledge by reviewing and publishing original research articles, review papers, and short communications in fields such as plant and animal biotechnology, advanced life sciences, and novel methods in plant and animal breeding and genetics. The journal publishes papers that have not previously appeared in any other journal or book, aiming to promote the dissemination of scientific findings among researchers in these areas.
Article Review and Evaluation Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure impartial and fair evaluation based solely on scientific quality. Initially, each paper is assessed by the Editor-in-Chief to ensure thematic relevance and conformity to the journal’s formatting guidelines. Eligible manuscripts are then sent to at least three qualified reviewers appointed by the editorial board. If a manuscript is approved by at least two reviewers and the author addresses all required revisions, it will receive formal acceptance certification from the Editor-in-Chief. Accepted papers are published in the earliest available issue following final approval by the Editor-in-Chief.
Article Processing and Publication Charges
The entire process—from initial evaluation and peer review to publication—is completely free of charge. Access to all published articles in this journal is also entirely open and free, and the use of any material from these articles is permitted, provided proper citation is given (citation guidelines are detailed within each article).

In cases of unethical behavior or research misconduct, the journal follows the rules and standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
